South Frazer
Most of the Gateway I do not agree with except 2 expentions.
I agree with widening HWY #1 on the east side of the PortMann.
There should be one line in each direction but stric kly for buses and carpools of 3 or more. One of the reasons there are no buses over the bridge right now is due to the traffic there is no way for the buses to keep to any kind of schedule.
I also agree with the South Frazer from HW#1 to the current current River Road. it is essential to get those damn transports out of suburban surrey, south surrey, Langley,and nuWest. Also there is no way to get to Twassen Ferry Terminal. As an former SaltSpringer I personally know that getting there to my parents to Chilliwack was a panfull experience. Taking transit for most going to the Islands is not optional as 90% use their vehicles on the Island. Remember that a lot of that horrible truck transport is not bound for the Delta Port but rather the Islands. The number of transports going down residential 16th in South Surrey is obscene and makes an already crowded road to an outright dangerous one. Those transports are not going to either the US or White Rock/ S.Surrey but rather HWY99 trying to find any route to get to the Delta Port and the Islands.
